Re: Why don't my wheels screech?

Yeah, I'm with Tilly - your stops are great anyway and for me screeching is annoying :). I don't always increase pressure the way Tilly describes but I do have noisy wheels. Haven't used many types of wheels. I didn't screech with my starter set up but screech a lot since I switched to Rollerbones D...

Re: Entry level skates

Everglides is selling off all their derby related products so your friend might be able to get a bargain there, there are limited sizes though. X

Weird links in posts

Hello, Is anyone else looking at the forum today getting little bits of ordinary text coming up as links to adverts? I can't explain it very well, but for example on the thread with the Bee roster for Dorset the Gerd bit of Erma's name comes up as a link to a reflux cure? Or is my machine infected w...

Re: Yet another Wheel/Bearing Question

Yes you need two bearings in each wheel :) . The metal bit between them is called a spacer and there are debates about whether or not there is a point to them by people who are much more knowledgeable about engineering type things than me :). I don't use them and things seem be okay, but freely admi...

Re: Wheel Swap

Thanks for the offer of the Tuners Riot but I'm finding the blue 93s a bit too grippy/not enough slide for me atm. :)

Re: Wheel Swap

I love the idea of a wheel fiend :D - will bring the zodiacs to the next practice for you Goldie.

I'd like to try some different wheels too please - things between 92 and 95 if anyone has anything spare (after Riot has had first dibs though)

Re: Wheel Swap

What sort of duro are you after? I have some 91a radar zodiacs that are too grippy for me that I'm probably going to try and sell when I get my arse in gear...

Re: New set up = can't stop?

Thanks Jet :) Be as nosey as you want! :) I've loosened the trucks a couple of 1/2 turns - I was being quite conservative as I'd read that some people find going to a 45 degree plate a bit too turny at first (if that's even a word) but I think I probably want to loosen them a bit more. I guess I did...

New set up = can't stop?

Hi everyone I've just swapped from my sure grip rocks to bonts on an invader plate in a sports mount and I'm finding really difficult to plough, which makes me sad as it's my favourite stop  . I used to be super happy on radar tuners 93a but they felt soooo grippy so I went back to the original...

Re: Protech mouthguards

Thanks for all the advice everyone :).

@Tuff, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I totally forgot about it! If you still want to go halves that would be great! :)
