Thanks, i've sent them links for volts/R3/Suregrips and said that the roller derby brand is not really made for RD. Also saw these http://m.prolineskates.com/product/roll ... -black-red can anyone else think of any others?

My work colleague (and friends) are thinking of getting some skates for someone who has just started roller derby. I think she has started freshmeat somewhere and is currently borrowing kit. I've been asked to spread word! Bike sales will be held on the pedestrianised area in the City Centre - opposite the Hippodrome. I would assume that if you bought a pair from them they would consider changing it for free but if you got it form somewhere else then you would have to pay them.
