Ha... thanks, Bam. I definitely don't know everything! But I've had problem skin my whole life so can relate to this.
Luckily I've been able to kick eczema with age. I would hate to have it now as I did when I was younger. It affected practically all my creases; knees, elbows, wrists, finge...

Another thing about showering... Although it's good to take a hot shower after training so your muscles don't contract too fast, skin complaints don't really like the heat. At the end of a shower, I blast my face and anywhere I have problem skin with the coldest water. It's instantly soothing and...

Hey Flo,
I had a friend who was badly affected all over her body especially from the pads!
Make sure you wash them regularly with vinegar or baking soda before washing them normally just to get any nasties out.
Another thing would be to get some cotton "sleeves". My friend used ...

I've never heard of it before either but at a guess it might be the same as a "hybrid" wheel which is a soft, wide wheel that can be used indoor or out.

ADD: John, I just saw your other post mentioning these on Paul's new skates... As Katie has said above these are to give you more tractio...

What kind of skates do you have?

You could probably sand off the part which is rubbing against your wheels... or see if there's a skate shop which stocks them so you can try them instore (there are options other than Rollermania!)

Jam plugs won't help because they bolt in as well an...

It's actually pretty hard as there are no UK reps! The rules that call for a certified ref would only be for WFTDA sanctioned games and we are not a part of WFTDA so, it's not totally necessary. That isn't to say that their skills assessment is irrelevant, though.

The only certified ref in...

I'm generally around daytime only, and can throw in some bearings. If I get time I'll put them together for you!

Best if you could collect before the 14th as I'll be moving then.
