Black 92A Fugitive wheels.

I have a set of 8 92A fugitive wheels with abec 7 bearings if anyone wants them. I don't want anything for them. They are a little worn, but still have plenty of life left in them. KCx

Re: Wheel information

I also skated on Fugitives for quite a while, and I really like them, apart from the width as Del says. I've switched to Radar Zodiacs (91A) now just because they came with my new skates and were a bit narrower, which I prefer. So I don't think it would hurt to wait a little while longer as there's ...

Re: 3rd Sept- Ticket/spectator information (Public thread)

There's nothing to stop us mentioning it on FB, as we are not being secret about it. As Blizz says this is in the public forum and its here on purpose so people can find out about it if they are keen to come along. My only concern if we publicise it too much is that we will have to turn people away ...

Re: 3rd Sept- Ticket/spectator information (Public thread)

I've just had a look on their floor plan, and they have another hall which is longer with a viewing balcony, but its a bit too narrow, we wouldn't get the safety margins in, not sure if Bomber means that one. I wasn't planning on putting signs on the road, the sports centre is pretty easy to find an...

Re: 3rd Sept- Ticket/spectator information

Its the Tuesday one, you mean they have a bigger one?? Thats why we are a bit limited with spectators as we can only have seating along the window side and the gym side. I then figure there should be space for a bit of suicide seating as there's an extra 5 m on top of the safety zone on the side, an...

Re: 3rd Sept- Ticket/spectator information

I asked Thornbury for max. capacity and they bascially don't have one! They just asked how many people were actually skating at a time but didn't seem to mind how many we sat round the edge. I think the max. capacity is 800 for the building, which includes all three sports halls and the swimming poo...

3rd Sept- Ticket/spectator information (Public thread)

The closed bout on the 3rd of Sept, at Thornbury sports centre, will not be strictly a closed bout, as we are going to be selling tickets to friends and family. It wont be a big production like our open bouts, but spectators will get to watch two bouts, so we will be charging £3 per person (under 10...

Re: London Rollergirls Summer School:Blocking From the Groun

I would have liked to have gone, but I don't think I can afford to do another one, especially as I'm already going to the Rocky mountain bout on the Fri and Goodwood on the Sun.

Re: Artistic wheels for derby?

Not sure how artistic wheels would work, I have thought about trying mine to see if they're any good. I have a couple of sets your welcome to try if you like. I wonder if they might not give enough grip, I have some Roll line panthers which are 95A's (which is pretty grippy for an artistic wheel, I ...
