Re: Importing from USA

I bought my Torq skates from Sin City back in the days and they were £120-odd. I paid £20 VAT when I collected them at the Post Office. I also bought socks and padded shorts for which I paid like £12 each or something. Interestingly, when I bought the other pair of padded shorts (same shop, same sho...

Erm, Goldie, have you got other wheels you're giving away for free, like that  ?

Re: Refs needed for Luton co-ed Bout 23 June

I would just get in touch and tell them you're free, but skint. They may have a guest ref driving from the West who could pick you up, who knows? They can sort something out themselves, if they need volunteers that badly.

Just one bearing for sale?

Hi,
Del Boy lost one of my bearings. Only one.
I don't want to buy 8 new bearings when I just need one, and for my outdoor wheels at that (so it's not like I use them all the time). Would anyone have a spare one to sell to me, please?

:)

Re: TSG Kraken helmet...?

Wow, I was intrigued by this CPSC multi-impact issue and I started looking into it and it's more complicated than I thought... Apparently, from what I can gather here and there on the net, CPSC helmets are made out of hard foam and they protect well against a single big impact or multiple low impact...

Re: Referee Handsignals video

I was convinced you had showed it to us before, because I very much remember it including the wee gag at the end... I searched the forum, but indeed, I can't find it anywhere. In my memory you had even made a proud mention that they were Finnish...

Re: Advice on knee pads

I would think the slipage would be a size issue, not a strapping issue. Mine strap and they don't slip. My advice for any kind of pads is to buy a size smaller than you would normally, because they stretch fast. Also I don't think anyone should Derby without knee gaskets. (I even have extra memory f...

Re: Looking for a new mouthguard - Protech

Yes, I do. And it works. Or should I say I did use Listerine. Now I switched to a 100% natural ingredients mouthwash and now my Protech is turning green/blue slowly because that's the colour of my new mouthwash. So don't you guys all go assuming that Listerine turns my Protech into a garden of liche...
