I was at the very first drop-in session, albeit off skates, way back in the mists of time.

Yes brew!! I remember seeing you lurking and came to say hello :-)
I think I remembered your name as it was always one of the first to buy advance tickets to bouts (along with the lovely Squishtastrophe :-) )

Hi :) I'm Robyn, short person with (currently) green hair. You can normally identify me by the aggravated roars and swearing!

I started skating in October and came to drop in having just learnt to go forward. I'm currently trying to pass my minimum skills. I'm not a natural but am seriously determined to become a great skater. It’s just starting to come together now, which makes me obscenely happy ^.^

Officiating has been ridiculously helpful for me when learning the game play/rules/ref signals. I'd highly recommend NSOing as much as possible!
