Quad Lines?

Postby Power Kraut » 17 May 2011, 10:38

Was just browsing Skates.com for the latest overpriced Derby boots, when I came across "Quad Lines"... Someone seems to have decided putting inline skate wheels on Quads (I think you need slightly wider trucks) would be a good idea. Apparently it's amazing for outdoor skating. It looks a little bit like two little cars on your feet but I have to say I'm intrigued! The whole story is here: http://www.skates.com/whats_new_s/53150.htm (with a cheesy video!)
and here are some examples: http://www.skates.com/QuadLine-Roller-S ... 121569.htm

I was thinking this would make skating to Bath a lot less painful...

These remind me of a 'road' version of the chunky offroad grass-skates. Very innovative.
