Goldie I may be interested. I have some birthday money, my mum says I should get a new coat but wheels sounds much better!! :P . May I give them a try sometime please.

Awesome, Goldie are you coming tomorrow?

Not really sure when/what I'll need to change to but trying a few different types to get a feel would be good. (That is Taya if you don't mind me trying your potential new wheels before you buy 'em!?) x

Right, based on reading lots on the interweb and here I think I really want to try a Jukes slim combo, probably 88 and 93 (Hopefully the combo will help with the transition from grippy to hard, and if I get on with the Jukes but not the combo then I can get full sets of different hardness as and when my finances allow. Pow! you are right, going from 86 to 95 in one fell swoop is not at all sensible, I was getting carried away  )

Does anyone have these wheels not currently on their skates that I could try, or size 6/7 skates with this combo I could have a go on for 5 mins to avoid the kerfuffle of taking off/putting on wheels? If not if someone wouldn't mind letting me try their jukes for a session (Goldie? Ruby?) I would be very grateful. I am going tomorrow and Friday.

xx

Me and Ruby do, but we're a size 5. Not sure about Goldie.

Goldie you're a star, thank you :D

Anyone considering sticky wheels you are welcome to try my zebras at training tomorrow. I know I've been a bit critical of them but other girls in the league have them and seem happy (and James from skate britain raves about them), they're just not for me.

I wouldn't mind trying the zebras, if that's okay? I suspect they'll be too sticky, but I have been considering them so if I could rule them out that would be cool. :-)

Yep no problem, I will bring them tonight (with bearings left in as the set Goldie is lending me will have bearings too, should make things easier).

Another time, (when you're not wearing them!) can I try your reckless evaders Goldie? :geek:

Oops, may have just accidently ordered some Jukes for next day delivery  !

So Goldie thanks for offering to lend me your wheels to try before I commited, but patience is a virtue I am sorely lacking in!

If I really don't get on with them I will have to re-sell at a loss so watch this space if you were considering these wheels, but I am optimistic that they are the wheels for me :D

Bump. Thorn are you at practice tomo? Sadly I can't make scrimmage Sunday as I'll be en route back from Peterborough.

ok so does anyone want to borrow the reckless evaders tomorrow? they are all 88's and the small and narrow as in 38 x 59mm.

They have bearings in.

just so i know whether to pack them or not!

im trying out my juke / venom combo to wear my venoms in as i think i will need them for Lincs.

Hi Goldie, I'm going to try Thorn's zebras tomorrow but if you don't mind bringing the evaders with you at another practice it'd be good to try and compare them. I've decided to try as many wheels as I can before investing in any :D x
