I'm starting to save for my next pair of Skates - I have Suregrip Rebels at the moment but I want something less bulky and and more streamlined. Does anyone have the Riedell She Devils and if you do, what do you think of them?

I have/ had them!

The boot is OK, best if you have narrow feet. The plate (PD Triton) is horrible though. I have the Revenge plate on my Antiks and the difference is amazing!

What size are you - mine are a UK 8 (US 9) - you are welcome to try them.

Good luck with the search!

PS Blizz and Terror also have She-Devils

Ha ha Delta!
I saw something online about the plate being weird :( its a shame because the boot is nice. I'm a size 7 on one foot and 7.5 on the other, so I reckon a 6.5 would be my best bet. Could I have a look at yours Cid? And a feel ;)

Of course! Have a look at the Riedell size chart http://sydneyderbyskates.com/shop/sizechart_main.html as this should help you with which size to buy. I ended up buying the same as my shoe size (UK 8, US men 9) and they were fine. Pretty much fitted out of the box with just enough wiggle room in the toe.

If it wasn't for the fact that I *need* a higher boot because of my ankle I'd have just changed the plate on the She-Devil boot.

There is nothing to say that you can't order the 126 boot with a different plate though, either John at Everglides or Natalie at Bridgend Cycle Centre should be able to help with that.

When are you next at practice - I may be there on Sunday if there is some scrimmaging going on... probably not skating though as I've got more foot problems atm :x

....my advice would be to take all fitting advice with a pinch of salt! Everyone's feet are different. I know I could not have worn a size smaller than my regular shoe size in Riedell's and this would appear to be the case with Antik's too :S

Yeah I'd love to try them if I'm around the same time as either of you ladies. I probably won't make it to Sundays session, but will be there every Monday and wedneday :)

I've never tried them on, but when i was researching and considering them i found a forum where people said they found them uncomfortable due to their high arch, so you might wanna consider that when trying on other people's?

Okay, I've realised that if I'm going to spend lots of money on the next set-up, I'm going to start with plates and go from there!
