Hi all

I know some of you lovelies are skating on sure grips, I was wondering if any of the boots were the rebel ones and what you thought about the size, comfort?

basically they have launched a good sounding skate with a metal plate and fugitives which i am considering getting instead of the wicked's as they are a good price and have the wheels on i want. butttt i dont know how good the boot is....help pleasex

Oh sounds good! I've got rebels and really like them. I'm a size 7 if you want to try them out.

TT

Kat, I have the contenders in size 8, the boot is called the XL-55 so I guess that's not the one you are looking at? in any case you can try them tomorrow.

Being leather, are you supposed to buy a size smaller than you are because they'll stretch (like the leather Riedell's?)

EEk I just bought some too! I tried on some last Sunday and they were really comfy. Thought I would get my stuff sorted for our first proper baut on Sunday! Yay!

Just a slight word of caution (now that you've bought your skates!), my Sure-Grips are coming apart after only a couple of months use. They are the XL-75s, so not the Rebels everyone else seems to be getting, and it's probably me not skating right or something, but thought I'd mention something just in case.
