yep you should definitely get pics, get in touch, complain! It's not Sin City who are at fault but Sure Grip still should have a basic quality standard for them not coming apart after only a short time skating

This is sort of the thing - http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/sale-of-goods/understanding-the-sale-of-goods-act/your-rights

Though I know you got them from the US

Might be worth asking Sin City what they think (though coming at it from enquiry rather than complaint POV)

:S

Yeah, but I'm not sure if they'll just say it's because I'm such a bat fastard not using them right!

Well they cant say that its illegal, unless they put an upper weight limit on the box or something. Plus you have 6 months with any faulty item to get a refund, so by trading standards they should last at least 6 months!

Does anyone else with Suregrip boots have a problem with the elastic bits that attach the tongue to the inside of the boot?

No matter how carefully I put them on and try and smooth them out they always get folded and then they press on the sides of my feet when I'm skating and it really hurts.

I was wondering if they actually had a function.. I'm tempted to just cut them off.

I had that at first but found that they softened up pretty quickly and a quick adjust when the boot was all strapped up stopped anything from getting caught. They're not essential but it feels like they do give a little bit of added support and structure to the boot.

Noted, thank you.

I won't get too scissor happy just yet and see how it goes.
