Making South Coast Roll a Charity event?

Hey Guys,

We've been talking about skating at the South coast roll this August (the event that's replacing the Goodwood charity event normally held) and I'm wondering if there's anyone else who'd like to try and skate a distance for charity? I'm thinking I'd like to make mine a sponsored skate (we can set something up on just giving easily right?) and wondered if a group of us wanted to do it/if we wanted to all do it for our chosen charity or for personal chosen charities/if were allowed to make it a charity event at all?

Does anyone know any of this? Is anyone interested in making a charity group with me and setting up a sponsorship page on just giving etc:?

Thanks!

Bella x

Pow set up a BRD fundraising page (for Survive) i think, do you want to use that one?

Yeah I guess we could use that, but maybe only if we get a group together? otherwise if it's just gonna be me, might be easier for me to make my own, would anyone object to me doing it for Survive even if I'm just by myself doing it?

xx

I'm up for this but need to double check it against my diary as I have a feeling I have to go to gloucester the day before for a party.

Also, does BRD still have a sponsor form lying about? or should I make a new one?

But email/text Pow to ask about whether anything needs to change via the admin as I think I remember her mentioning that something might need to change (do contact her off the forum, it's unlikely that she'll see it posted here in this thread)

I didn't really know how to use the existing page, so I hope no one minds I made anew one :)

at the moment it's an individual page for me, I've put BRD info on there, those who wanted to skate with me, can you let me know if you still do? I can make it into a team page and add everyones names to the page so were all raising together :)

hope this is okay! sorry Ive left it a bit late...

matt and julian wanted to join, so I've made a team page, if anyone who wants to take part, click the "join the team" button and then make your own page, I've used the same text for both my own page and the team page, to make things clearer,

we can add peoples names to the team page once they join the team!
