Killer's done a massive amount of work to sort out all the BBC stuff, it would be a real pity if there's only a handful of us (considering the amount that come along for practises).

Yeah I agree, obviously some people can't due to other commitments but hopefully more of us turn up.

Also well done Killer for all your hard work!

I can make it. Haven't got outdoor wheels yet, will I totally ruin my indoor ones? If we are just doing a little scoot round I suppose it should be ok.

Millenium square is very smooth. You'll be fine with your indoors.

I will come along with Amelie and hopefully back up to look after her so I can skate for a few minutes.

Maybe they would like to see Amelie come along with me anyway?

x

p.s. I have outdoor wheels but can't be bothered to change them for this, that gives you some indication as to how smooth Mil Sq is!

Snatch, I'll be bringing my daughter who's 9 & would undoubtedly LOVE to help look after Amelie for you while you have a skate...

Ah that would be cool! She is pretty much alright to look after if you fill her hands with fruitshoot and snacks, I will bring supplies! She got on well being looked after by Isobel (mini terror) so she should be well behaved!

Thanks girls - this is looking better!!!

Indoor wheels will be more than fine - it's incredibly smmoth.

So - to recap it's MIDDAY by the big silver ball in Millenium Square THIS SUNDAY - open to everyone in the league (be good to see some boys!!!) and they would like us to dress derby-style!

No doubt it will be a bit chilly but we're well'ard we are, I'm sure we'll survive.

Keep posting below if you can make it.

How long will the BBC be around for? I have to be at work at 2pm on sunday, which means I'll probably have to leave town at about 1, 1:15 at the latest. Will an hour be enough? and can you give us more of a guideline as to what we should wear.

Hey Pain (love your derby name btw) - an hour will be fine! Just wear what you feel comofortable in although I know they're keen to see people wearing their derby alter egos with fishnets and hotpants, tatoos and crazy make up etc!!! x
