All the other topics about the free skate have been closed to new replies, so I had to start a new topic, sorry.

Few questions.

The training update still says the Thursday free skate is £TBC, has it been confirmed? Is it also £3.50?

Secondly, are hire skates available on Thursdays?

Ta muchly xx

Depending on numbers, the cost may be split between skaters but will be a maximum of £3.50.

Hire skates are stored at Withywood so would be available, yes.

No probs, do I need some sort of official money taking equipment or shall I just put it in a purse and give it to you next session?

Do we pay Withywood on the night or is this already done?

Is there any chance anyone is driving and would be kind enough to be willing to give me a lift from the Clifton/Cotham/Redland area?

Please/thanks :)

Where exactly is it you live Sour? I live in St Pauls and don't mind shooting up to the arches, any further than that and I am likely to get lost/be late as I can't leave early due to childs bedtime...

I can - I'm just up from the Arches in Cotham....and have no children or their bedtimes to contend with, just a few scrapes from a horse trying to exit the lorry out the window this evening (not the recommended route it must be said). Let me know where you need picking up from if you still need a lift.

Thanks everyone for giving up time in the free skate to let us do our speed tests, it was great fun, but I was exhausted - need to work on the fitness I think! Just to add to the confusion, I really liked the suggested name of Wild Strife so have swapped my display name from Tilster ;)

Righty then, to avoid a rerun of Thursday night's confusion, is there going to be a open skate this coming Thursday? I know it's a bit soon, but if anyone can let me know it would be appreciated.

I know it'll be Christmas eve eve so I'm not expecting many people (if any) to turn up, but I'll still be up for it!

I'd be up for it too. I do worry about huge Christmas puddings and sofas like clouds turning me unreasonable and grandnannyish - though, thinking about it, maybe a huger butt would be an ass-et (mwah hah hah cracker jokes welcome!).

I could do with the exercise and some fresh air, so if somebody else is up for it and would like a, maybe, speed or skills session, it'd be great to use that time. I can give a hand with stops, considering they took me AGES to grasp, so I may know a trick or two...

Simone, is there a session booked for that day already, or does it depend on turnout?
